Jerks of Grass are a high-energy bluegrass quartet from Portland, ME. Gathered around one microphone in the traditional style, with one foot in traditional and the other in progressive roots music, over the past decade New England’s own Jerks of Grass have become a formidable purveyor of their own brand of bluegrass music.

Voted Portland's Best Roots/Acoustic act seven times, they are tireless performers, having played over 1200 shows throughout New England.
